Hi, I'm Meagan.
Understanding the dynamics between animals and humans and how we communicate with each other has long been a passion of mine. I spent my earlier years riding and showing horses, but have since shifted to the dog world. I have 2 young kids, and am now down to 1 horse, Zephyr, and 2 dogs, Ronnie (Border Collie) and our senior boy Rosco (Cane Corso). We sadly lost my soul dog, Kali (pictured) early 2025. Kali shaped an enormous part of who I am today, and she is what initially got me into training when I had sought out training for her (and Rosco) many years ago before I started training professionally. While I LOVE puppies and basic obedience, I have a soft spot for fearful and insecure dogs and a huge passion for interhousehold aggression/dog to dog issues and reactivity. I am also a big advocate for safety between children and dogs together in the home, and helping families find balance with their dogs within busy lives. I am dedicated to continuous growth both personally and professionally, and regularly update my education to stay as up to date and versatile as possible for my wide range of clients.
In my "spare time" I can be found camping with my family, watching my kids dirt bike, riding my horse, or sheep herding!

We want to stay up to date and there is ALWAYS something to learn, through new courses, new clients and new research. We are dedicated to learning from a variety of resources to help us be as adaptable and knowledgeable as possible. We strongly believe in continuing education through a variety of resources, whether in person or online. We learn from both balanced and force free sources, and carry an open minded approach to training. We are a supporting member of IAABC, Insured through ProFur, and hold our DogSafe Canine First Aid Certification.
Our dogs learn, too! Rosco has overcome A LOT and has spent countless hours working as a practice dog in client reactivity lessons, as well as building confidence/teaching manners to dogs who come for boarding or day training at our house. Ronnie is at work with me most days, and has just started his sheep herding career! We will dabble in some scent work in 2026 as well.
